I'm sure I read somewhere, that Shell guarantee it to be 98 out of the pump, where as others only give the RON ratings from the depo? Not that I use Optimax anyway :(

I generally fill mine up at Sainsburys on 97 RON, far cheaper than BP for the same stuff. No optimax near me. Sometimes fill up with Tescos 99 RON, but find no difference in performance (thought I would) and the car seems to drink it far quicker than 97.

Not 100% sure mate, but if you have any doubt contact your insurer. Whoever uses the car most needs to have the insurance in their name, with the other as a named driver basically. Insurance costs so much that you want to make sure you are actually covered, seen too many horror stories to...

Basically a named driver is a driver for occassional use, if you are driving the car everyday as a 'named' driver then obviously that's not occassional use; and insurance companies will not pay out if they discover this (they will check with your neighbours, your employers, etc (any reason not...

I really like the Racing Blue cup they did with all the graphics, but I'm just not sure it works in that colour. That colour is stricking enough (it is my fav) that it doesn't need any additions. :)

Well.... if you work in insurance you will know that if you are the primary driver, and you are only down as a named driver then you are NOT covered by the policy. Get the wheels refurbed, you can conisder a change in colour that way as well!

Sounds like the right price from a local dealer. National tyres wanted £380 for 2x 215/45/17 F1s, I almost chocked to death. Ended up paying £180 from black circles, and guess who fitted them ;) haha.
