Did the RAC bloke check the HT leads and plugs etc? Could be something simple like that.

Does the steering wheel shake? Sounds like either a tyre pressure / balancing / wheel alignment problem.

5k's a lot for essentaily the same car, with a few tweeks (which you could do on yours for far cheaper). There are lots of other nice cars out there past the Clio or Renualt ;)

I've got this HU, works nicely, I've got the ipod cable going into my glovebox, which is tidy. No ipod to connect it to as yet though, lol.

I've got a fracture on my Fujitsubo, on the centre section just after the silencer so it's blowing like a biatch :( What's the best and cheapest way to get this sorted? I'm gonna call round see if I can find someone to weld it, but I've been told they'll want it off the car to do it...

Mk1 or Mk2?

Really not mate, was about half the price of a Mk2 V6, was so suprised with the insurance quote, that's why I just thought bugger it and got it! Still want an Acid Yello V6 though, not that I'm envious :)

MPG Is about the same as mine then, but insurance on a V6 was much more expensive than on mine, both group 20 cars though. I'll have a V6 one day, as long as you get a relatively low miler you'll be ok I reckon!
