    Clio dci 100bhp

Guy at our office has one. Commutes in around 60 miles every day - they really will do 65mpg on this sort of motoring. Can easily sort the handling with a set of Eibachs. Good car IMO.

    Cleaning wheels - pressure washers

How good are those electric pressure washers for cleaning wheels? Do they do the full job, or would I still need to use a brush to get the brake dust off?

Best tyres for Turinis on 172

A lot of this is down to personal opinion/preference, so you might well get a lot of different views. IMO Toyos are great if youre on a budget. If money is no object you might try Goodyear Eagles (for double the price). The Toyos wont last as long, but they do grip very well.

    Which Clio, 172 MK1/ MK2

You can easily get a good Mk1 172 for that sort of money. Engine and gearbox are both strong. No serious weak points, just niggly little things, electrics, exhaust, stuff like that. welcome to Cliosport by the way :) [Edited by telford_mike on 10 September 2004 at 7:47pm]
