    Leon is a bit of a barge, good engine, but not exactly nimble. Bigger car than the Clio though, so more practical. Clio much more fun.

    FWD+foot off the gas in a bend=spin in most high powered FWD cars. Eibach springs will sort out your body roll problem.

    Must admit when I was looking at cars recently the Golf didnt even make the long-list, never mind the short-list. Short list was VX220 turbo, Scooby, 350Z, Clio V6.

    Mk1 or Mk2? theyre very different. Mk1 - set temp to coldest, a/c on , fan on full - you should freeze Mk2 - set temp to MIN (press blue button until MIN appears), then press AUTO - you should freeze It may need re-gassing if you dont get cold air coming out.

    That is a good price. Most of the brokers seem to get about 14% off list, which leaves a 182 with both Cup packs at about £13,300.

    It will have a manufacturers warranty, 3 years if it was originally registered in the EU, 2 years if elsewhere. Youll get a lower resale value if you buy from Motorpoint - keep trying your dealer. I did this last month with my dealer - I waved a quote from a broker at them and by discounting...
