    would u choose the v6

lol @ Sylvia! 27p is not better spent on a BMW! Everyone has one - our street is full of them! £27k is better put in the bank, but if you want a nice car its gotta be the V everytime!

    Front Spliter.

    I think these will only fit a Mk2 phase 2 172.

Hill Power - ECU and Silicone hose kit!

Nick has a group N cam conversion on his price list (I saw the actual cams in a box today!) Theyre Renault cams (or you can have Kent for a few quid less), but whether theyre actually group N or not I couldnt say.

Hill Power - ECU and Silicone hose kit!

Strange thing is that Nick told me about the idle speed when I first rang him up about it - not like it was a surprise to him or anything. TBH it doesnt bother me at all, but its a mystery thats for sure.

Hill Power - ECU and Silicone hose kit!

Ive never been so happy with a single bolt-on mod to be honest Jay, the difference is massive. So what do youthink about this idl business? Can this be adjusted or is it fixed by the ECU? I did pick up a price list from Nick while I was there and theres a group N cam conversion too - I was...

    Void Waranty Modding Car

Did springs after a couple of months from new, Magnex after a couple more. Never had a single warranty issue, in fact the staff at the dealer were interested to see what Id be doing next! Had Group N ECU & silicone inlet hose kit fitted today - doubt theyll have a problem with that either.

    would u choose the v6

If my circumstances would permit a 2 seater Id have a V6 without any hesitation. Theres no other car that commands so much attention, and its a great drive. How anyone can even contemplate putting that barge of a 350Z in the same league is beyond me TBH!

    Space saver wheel for 172

For everyday use the gains youd get by carrying one of these are insignificant compared to the hassle. Its fast enough for normal use - ditch the spare altogether while youre 1/4 miling - just leave it in the car park.

    Cheapest Place For An Exhaust

Just depends what you want really - with powerflow you can get one made exactly as you want it. Magnex is off the shelf but very good quality.

    Cheapest Place For An Exhaust

Demon Tweeks will supply and fit a cat-back Magnex (either tailpipe style) for about £337 for members. Very good service too.

Hill Power - ECU and Silicone hose kit!

Spent a very pleasant morning at Hillpower drinking coffee and chatting to Nick and his Dad. Had the Rsport ECU fitted, along with the silicone inlet hose kit. Startling improvement in the car - much more responsive in every gear, and the rev limiter has been increased. Car is also louder -...
