im 25 with 5 years ncb and paying 500 quid including declaring my induction kit, remap, coilovers and s/s exhaust, with 250 excess and protected no claims so 1400 seems a tad too much imo

as i said tho, ali's 172 was getting around 190 with the same mods as mine and the only difference between our cars is that i have a 182 and therefore have a 182 manifold fitted. hopefully will...

i was with flux last year. i was going to go with greenlight as they beat fluxes renewal price by a lot, but contacted flux with greenlights best offer and they happy beat it for me :)

yeah but 182 ps works out around 179 bhp so that means if the car is running true to its power (which most dont) then the exhaust and panel have added 11bhp!

you have 2 options
you can get springs: eibach sportline/prolines if you want handling or apex if you prefer looks (they lower a bit more than eibach but dont handle as well) they cost around 120 quid
or you can get coilovers, these cost more but will hande better overall...
yeah i know what u mean matey, ive been using the collinite over the winter its great stuff!
i will be using collinite on the family cars as they hardly ever clean theirs and need a more durable and long lasting wax, then will probably go for p21s on mine
i think the 197 is a good car, its just not a great car!
i think a lot of people felt let down as it hasnt exactly leapt ahead of the 182, its just slightly shuffled forward a little bit
