    V6 Car Ramps

Tried that, they just got pushed out the way by the awesome power behind them. ;)

    V6 Car Ramps

Cheers j3ned, at the moment I use a normal car jack to get it up a bit, and then Ive got a trolley jack for the rest, but Id rather use ramps as its quicker and safer....

    AngelWorks Technologies - V6 exhaust

PMd you Andy. SMT7s are the lastest in custom ECU reprogramming. ASFAIK they dont replace it altogether though.

    V6 Car Ramps

Does anyone know of any portable car ramps that will work for the V6? Obviously the front is very low, and I think most ramps are too short. Any suggestions welcomed!

    do people stare

/flame suit on I think personalised plates are a bit over-rated. There are some good ones, like X5 drivers with PEN15S, but in general theyre a bit too personalised, and no one knows what they mean (even if its so obvious to you!). I have to laugh hard when I see a 50 quid fiesta bombing...

    Heal an toe’in

I might try that jongsr4 :).... Heal and toe used to be easy in my frp where the pedals were at the same level when applying the brakes and blipping the accelerator, but in the v6, even when the brake pedal is pressed quite hard, its still a lot higher than the accelerator pedal, so you can...

    182 in EVO (again)

And not being as adjustable on the throttle, and pushing wide on the corners.....they made the mini sound a bit poor in comparison.

    V6 question

They come in larger sizes? Or is the design different?

    AngelWorks Technologies - V6 exhaust

Ben, are the increased burbles, pops and flames a result of the decating more than anything else? Or is it down to manifold design?

    Am I getting too old

Its the type of person / car combo that makes for a "nob" identification... For example, if you saw a Zonda (the car, not the guy on here ;)) pulling out a little too quick is gonna sound good and look pretty sweet... On the whole though, I would most certainly class these people as complete...

    P Zero Nero’s

Got them on the back of the V6 since last weekend - and they are very grippy....usually when Im running low on fuel, the back end gets a bit lively - but not with these, very grippy and nice stiff sidewalls :D Btw, this is for the Rossos

    V6 Accident Follow Up

I didnt think that an HPI check would record anything other than a "catagory A/B/C/D", and a £2000 claim is none of those on a £15,000 car. The estimate you have received sounds about right for the work required, but Im surprised you bent the subframe :o

    Mk2 Clio V6 or VX220 Turbo

Depends how you view them though, if like Turbo200 you compare them to the cup, I agree, the throttle response is poor and it doesnt feel agile and chuckable but as a grand tourer, its hard to beat. The engine has bags of torque, sounds great and the ride is near perfect for UK roads. Coming...

    Power steering gone on V6

A very similar thing happened to me when I first got mine. I had the steering on full-right lock (trying some arse-out moments in the work carpark) and it suddenly started grinding really loudly. I tried to turn the steering back, but it would just grind and the engine would strain. In the...

    Mk2 Clio V6 or VX220 Turbo

I was just having a little go, no offence ;) I used to own a Z3 2.8 as well, which I bought for the same reasons as you - looked good, soft top and great engine (which sounded brilliant with my power-losing K&N on there :p). My comment was simply sticking up for V6s as a hot hatch. My car is a...

    Mk2 Clio V6 or VX220 Turbo

I doubt it mate, I think itd be very 50/50. 50% would chose the VX for the track/weekend, the other half would chose the V6 for the practicality.
