Had a flyer from my dealer trying to sell me MOT warranty - you pay £79 and they guarantee to cover repairs if it fails. Theres a list of stuff thats covered, but no way to tell whether its comprehensive or not. Anyone got a definitive list of things that your car can fail an MOT on please?
Its really funny watching the update in progress - the new data comes in from the internet like lightning, then takes ages to go down the 9.6k serial connection to the B2 unit! Still only takes a minute or 2 total though.
Good question. I think if they really helped then the economy-oriented models would have them too, as theyd undoubtedly assist fuel efficiency, and thats what sells vehicles in that category. I think its a bit like alloy wheels - they look nice but dont offer any particular advantage.

182=great car! And the only Renaultsport Clio you can buy at the moment for sensible money. Cant see the point in changing from a 172 though, going to lose a couple of thousand quid. Its not like a 182 is going to leave you for dead on a trackday (fingers crossed). 10 bhp makes it better, but...
