Re: what silver should i use to spray my old renault wheels from a dynamique? help pl
It wont take long to mix! Ur local motorfacters should be able to mix you a spray can off it if that's what you need!
Swissvax onyx mate! Or BOS if your flush! U'll never look back! We'll convert u from DODO!
Mine show's up white spots too! All cars will, just darker colours are more noticable!
This thread has gone completely to the dogs! In an attempt to rescue it! That buffer don't look too bad, but the heads are shite. This would probably be your best bet.

Have you ever used a rotary? They take...
Sorry, I did try to resist! Put the car on an axle stand a try hitting the wheel from behind with a rubber mallet. Should come off! Try greasing the hub with copper grease before putting wheel back on, that way they should come off easier next time!
Sounds like the aux belt has snapped causing the usual cam belts jumps a few teeth. You will probably have to do a cam belt change as well now. Hopefully the valves themselves are ok. The noise your hearing above 2k rpm is probably the pistons hitting the valves.
Get a specialist to check it...
Not 2 bad. My Bro has a bodyshop so I've seen it done loads of times. I think I'd have paniced tho when I saw how dull it was before I polished it if I wasn't used to it! Lol
Following on from my many questions last month about how best to polish my badly swirled BMW, I eventually got round to posting up a few pics of the finished result. Took around 3 days in total to get to this stage as the paint was a mess to begin with.
No before pics, but here's the process...
I had big end failure on my 172. Dropped a 182 lump in. We only changed over the pas pump etc and the bracket on the back that hold the drive shaft. Everything else was fine. So a 172 rad will be grand. I assume the rad switch is connected in someway to the ecu and you'll be using your 172 ecu...
Yep, just worked it really well into the paint. Must've spent around 5mins per square foot! Just worked it in at 600rpm then up to around 1800, then back to 600 to burnish it! Couldn't believe how well it turned out! :D
Thanks for all your help guys!
