Its dead easy. All you need is a heavy hammer, a lump of cheese and a hacksaw. Not sure what to do with them, but getting the right tools is a good start.
He was too scared of the power of the mk1. Muahahahaha!!!! Oh yeah, his computers bust, so he cant defend himself. I might as well take this opportunity to point out that we raced head to head on a couple of occasions and.......he lost! Heheheh. I didnt manage to beat Jon head to head though...
Yeah, back seats and spare out. Same as Paddy and Jon. Only 4 thousanths off a 14.5. Bugger. Never satisfied! Probably going to keep seats out now as I never use the damned things anyway. Also, having felt the weight of 15" Superleggera compared to the F1 Cup 15", Im getting a set of those and...
The inital MK1 172s came with an alloy spare, then the tight arses at Renault replaced this with a steel wheel for later MK1s and only went back to an alloy spare with the MK2 172.
Yeah, I found him handy in a BenR kind of way. And definitely not aggressive. If anyone says he is aggressive Ill break their cyber-legs with my virtual baseball bat. Huh, aggressive.... ;)

Just wanted to make sure everyone was aware of that fact. :p
(Its an Alfa 147GTA, by the way)
So the point is that there is a race series using race prepped Clios and that the Cup 172 is more similar to the 172 than the Race Cup and not so "different" after all?!
Yes, this information is entirely right. The Clio 172 Cup can be entered in the Clio Cup Championship.
Itll just have problems keeping up with those sequential gear boxed stripped out Cup racers..... ;)
15kg = 16.85% of the performance difference between a MK2 172 and a Cup. If Id bought a car with the stuff stripped out to improve the performance, Id try not to start filling it up with stuff again! Might as well have had the aircon etc! ;)
Im not too keen on the exterior look of the 20VT, but in Black itll look mean and hey, its a 20VT for £7.5k. Do it. Just set a bit of money aside to tweak the suspension.
