Didn't get a chance to look at it 2nite, so will prob be the weekend. If I lift the engine slightly with the crane will that put strain on any other parts like the shafts or steering rack?
Just about to change the sump on a 172? Is it easy enough, ino the oil pump will get in the way, do I jus remove to sub frame bolts and drop it down a bit?
Hi,
Recently purchased the rs tuner from Henk. Was wondering if anyone had any maps for the 172 CB1N that are different form the 1's on the website?
Thanks,
Stuart
No, the wider body wont help unless the pipe coming out the rear of it is the same width. Steppin from narrow to wide, back to narrow will only slow the flow down.
Wot he said
On, and jack the car up using a trolley jack on the beam. Axle stands under the rear jacking points on the sill then lower the rear beam till the holes line up after replaceing the shocks and securing at the top.
Yep, there are symbols for all the fuses on the reverse of the fuse box cover. Not sure which 1 it is tho. Jus check they're all sound and not blown. The fuse for the mirror lights is probably linked to other devices as well.
Hi,
Need part numbers for the lower arch liner/splash guard on a mk2 ph2 172. Passenger side. Also need the number for the deflector that runs behind the bumper and connects the two splash guards.
Thanks,
Stuart
