If you are advertising your car then this is the wrong section anyway, pay £5 and you will have the privilage of being able to sell your car here. Also 3k isn't my estimate, it's just a guess - I don't know spot on exactly what it's worth, and yea you could of spend a fortune on it modding wise...

They are still 'mods' no matter what anybody calls them.. The car is now non-standard, so it looses value, Sorry. And Sat Nav isn't a mod, it's a car accessory.

No more than 3k I would of thought. Car value depreciates quicker with mods.

I have just Rockford Fosgate Punch 6x9's on my shelf and I think they look great! I sold my 12" sub because I didn't want the bass anymore, but plenty of Mid and Treble so I upgraded my front speakers to Rockford Fosgate 3.5" and they have done the job a treat. Still really loud on the inside...

They dont do: BMC ITG Green (I think they may do 8v's im not 100%) Filters for the 1.2's!!!! You have to get them custom made (if they can do it) and if you do it cost's an arm and a leg if you do get them made up - not worth it for the gains you will get.

Sod IK's for the 1.2!! - The P-X did nothing for me. Got a K&N panel filter with CAF and now i've noticed a better response compared to an open cone filter. :D

^ They are a good make - expensive like Eibach as well! I only thought they did full suspension kits for the 1.2? I couldn't find just springs for the 1.2 where I looked.

Exhaust. Powerflow are making a stealth cat-back for me. Can't wait!

On a 1.2 mate, springs will do the job just fine. Not worth breaking the bank on a suspension set up unless you're going to do a decent job tuning the car (also pointless unless you change the engine for a 2.0ltr). Like I said, I shall try and get some pics up once it's lowered.

Like I said - I have 35mm Apex springs, I will let you know what the ride is like and post pics up once they have been fitted.

Errr the clue is in the name :S ... 5mm?? :rolleyes: Usually after the springs have bedded in, it sinks to about 40mm and stays there. The same with 40mm, it will probably go lower to 45mm.

I'm 21 now as well. I don't know! I haven't made a claim with my insurer (touches wood) so they must love me. And yes 21 should make a tiny bit of difference, but you won't get good discounts until you hit 25! :approve: (and as long as you keep a clean license and no claims).

My insurance: Lower 35mm drop - £14.50 Lower 60mm drop - £82.90 :) I've just recieved some KTR 35 mm Apex springs, so will be fitting them soon.

yea 35mm actually, but im sure after they have been run in the drop will be near enough 40mm. No, the custom system from Powerflow is going to cost me around the £300 mark - I need to get saving. I'm planning on getting that done after FCS though :( (wanted it done before, but I can't get 300...

Just got my springs now! KTR is actually Apex springs! :eek: Can't wait to get them fitted!
