Hmmm 4x112... Fitment for the Clio is 4x100 mate. Think stud's are spaced too far apart and won't allign correctly.
Nice Euro styled wheel's though, but go for 4x100 to be spot on without any worries.
I used to be a big fan of large decent in car sound system's, but have been put off a few times and after having a 12" sub with 1k amp myself, the constant drone got to me. Also now my car taste's have changed and decided to move away from that area altogether. I decided decent front speakers...
Why would you want to de-restrict a standard filter anyway? Just get an IK if your not happy with the standard induction set up. Or get a panel filter which does the job of an IK without the effort of replacing the whole system.
You can drill holes in the air filter box underneith it, but...
If you didn't read the above, I have a 1.2 it's not exactly gonna beat many cars is it ffs?
And from what I could tell, he wasn't actually looking in any of his mirrors, he hardly seemed to notice me...
^ lol, he had a Skoda VRS.. He booted it as soon as I started to overtake in my 1.2.. I think so.. And no I couldn't have him in the twisties because I couldn't get past him as he was stuck at 40 most of the way and there was very few chances to overtake him safely!
Was having a drive home, had some work at home that needed sorting out for the morning and where I work there are some nice fast roads within the national speed limit, so I thought great, ill give it some beans (or what beans my car has anyway) and I ended up getting stuck behind an old todger...
GPS is usually out about that much. My Navman always says im doing 6ish mph over the limit, but I go by whatever my speedo reads. Speedo's are never 100% accurate anyway and usually no more than a couple of mph out.
If that is the standard CAF to the right hand side of it which tuck's sideways behind the light then your new IK is going to get no new cold air to it apart from what's just entered the front grill. I don't think you will get any gains with that thing on. You may as well invest in a proper IK...
Re: **show Es Your Engine Bay**
Err cause most people on here try to look after their car? :S
Do it by hand and don't be a tart getting it done down a garage! :approve:
Would do jack mate, rain can't make its way upward's into the filter. The end of the nozzle would get wet, but it's very unlikely it would get inside the air filter housing mate.
So no worries. :D
Oh yea looks the bollox on paper all this malarki about sucking air into the manifold under acceleration which makes the spring oscilate bla bla bla.. When you have it on your car I found it does nothing apart from make a racket. You don't need anymore advice. Don't buy it is all the advice you...
They don't make as much noise in the bin!! Sound's like your engine is about to die when you have it installed. Never again, so glad I went back to standard.
Waste of money and time trying to work out exactly what it does when driving around. You pay all that money for a bit of noise under the...
The standard air feed goes where the most cold air can be collected without interfering with other engine componants. I had a good look when I re-fitted the new caf exactly how the air gets in and as far as I can see that is probably the best place for it unless you can get a pipe long enough to...
Tried K-Tec's latest stealth system? I heard they are made by Janspeed now and better quality? Possibly worth looking into them! :)
I'm getting a Powerflow stealth when I cough up the dosh lol.
Re: **show Es Your Engine Bay**
Mine is missing my engine cover awaiting a bit of a tart up from Mark. Nice engine Rich, how fast does it go on the back of a tow truck? :p
