on mine - we found it easier to remove the airbox and take the whole cage out including ECU. If you loosen the battery mounts you can slide it back to allow access to lower bolts on ECU cage.
Not sure about the bleeps tho?
"...so its 695 for CC without air-con then ?"
CC without A/C would be useless.
Initially ive said i could do without AC but just lately its been really really useful. Yeah it saps some power, but if you see a race, just switch it off (bit like a BOOST button!!)
yeah its the immob. Mines even worse. When my engine is hot and ive turned it off, and then on straight away, well it wont turn on unless i open the bonnet, wiggle the starter motor/immobiliser wires and trial and error as to when it starts. An AA man showed me the "trick". Its in soon for...
Push start it? Get some mates to give you a push down the road and hop off the clutch in 2nd. If that doesnt work maybe the immobiliser is going haywire like mine?

oh no Will (again!). Bad luck matey. Still doesnt affect your performance, especially off the line!!! ;)
If you wanna inspect where they remove the inlet manifold - use the torx screws in your tool kit in the boot and undo the plastic 2.0 dressing from above the engine and youl see what they...
Oh no mate. Thats awful. Really gutted for you.
The engine looks intact - can you salvage any bits from it? maybe keep the engine and put it in a 16v or something?
I know what you mean about the tail being frisky at those speeds, did it slide when the tail broke away or flip?
gutted for you mate. I still havent had my front bumper repaired after some anonymous idiot drove into it in a car park. The secruity couldnt be bothered to look at their CCTV and claimed it was pointing the wrong direction (yeah right, lazy a$$es). Still have a few nasty scratches on the...
all above and including:
- shave all hair including the sensitive areas and pubes-

- titanium chassis conversion

- with regards to aerodynamics buy a Vauxhall Calibra Bodykit or...
Oh no Will! we were talking about how bad our handbrakes were only the other day. Must get mine seen to. I wonder if it needs the ecu update or something regarding emissions? im sure someone said in here theres updated data for them? maybe? or maybe not? who knows, not me!
OH MY GOD RHYS! im so sorry to hear that your pride and joy has been half-inched by some TWOC(SSER). Absolutely gutted for your mate. I genuinely feel sick with hatred for the scum that did this.
If you decide to post your numberplate etc I will go out hunting/looking for it, maybe the death...
yeah I went there today it was great! Saw the wheelie car wheeliing - what a spectacle! got it on a vid. I think we saw Steve Merchant there (co-writer of the office - The Ogmonster) walking around. Top day and we got in free, just parked up in the vip area at around 4.30 and walked in - no...
Hey russ. Missed this post "Owh". Russ you wanna get yourself a 16v and shoe-horn in a 2.0 megane bottom end. Theres a few guys on here with beasts. adiclio16v has a 2.0 16v clio and managed a 14.2 qtm and slays 172s regularly...Think its quite modded tho (head work etc) but still bloody quick!
it already has an enclosed paper element free flowing sucking x2189.
Id stick with the standard. I took the cold air pipes of mine for the noise effect and lost a race to an astra GTE 16v 2.0 mk.2(have to race him again with them on!-thatl be a conclusive test eh?). If you want noise get...
