how far should the sleeves be pushed in before welding? all the way so the bush sits flush against the wishbone? a la
or similar to my old ones where the sleeve only sticks out a cm and a little out the back?
just concerned that if i do them flush they stick out more and won't fit back...
bank refers to a group of cylinders, a 4 cylinder engine has 1 bank of four cylinders, a v6 engine has two banks of 3 cylinders (for example). bank 1 is the group of cylinders that contains cylinder #1. in the case of the clio, it only has one bank of cylinders, there is no bank 2. what you'll...
another ad to rip apart

anthracite turinis cannot be beat on the cup. best wheels for it. unfortunately they command a very high price :( which is why i run 16" pro race 1.2s (like everyone else) that i picked up for £150 :):)
i had a load of hassle trying to remove my last one. i made a tool in the end out of a spanner, socket wrench and spark plug socket. did the job in about 10 minutes where the day before i spent a couple of hours trying to shift it.
stick the ring end of the 22mm (i think) spanner on the sensor...
Got to ask yourself why is he selling it so quickly? 1 owner from new and bought off neighbour prob means he's had it for less than a week

ok you win that one. having only ever seen a mark 1 valve i misunderstood how that part of it works.
i never did replace my load sensing valve. even though it reads efficiency 150 on the left and 50 on the right, i don't notice anything untoward when braking on the road.
you can't fail an mot on rear brake balance, the fronts yes but not the rears. my mot tester probably angled my failure more towards low efforts than imbalance.
the arm isn't supposed to be fully up. if it was, what purpose would the spring and valve serve?
omg your post contains more crap than the whole thread! in a polite way of course
if you put more weight in the back of the clio the braking force will increase, not the other way. think about which way the valve, arm and beam move as you add more weight in the back.
there's plenty...
a world of difference, mine misfired between 5-6k rpm until i took the bosch ones out and put correct ngk ones in. a shame, as ngk are four times the price of the bossch ones!
bit of a pain to change though as you have to remove the inlet manifold. not difficult, just a bit long winded as you...
Re: My 172 monaco
does that sticker on the steering wheel say "hero"? love it.
what is the hole corner weighting thing? i know it balances the car up, but what do they do to it- adjust the suspension depending on weight?
I've just remembered something I read a while ago, I've heard the stealth can have a little more 'boom', I assume as the pipe is facing directly towards the ground
more dings than dents to be honest. car park stuff.
anyone tried this? more hassle than it's worth? please no scaremongering, just like to hear from people in the know or those who have tried
the position of the arm does have an effect. you moved it in the right direction, the higher the arm the greater the rear braking pressure. problem is, due to no movement they must disentegrate inside over time.
you may need to go the official route with regards to challenging the test result...
from what i read the op indicated right at a mini roundabout and turned right, the van coming the opposite direction hit him in the side when he should have stopped to give way.
