Has the thought crossed your mind that a seriously modded 19 16V would actually beat a Williams clio?
.. Stands back as the hornets nest erupts!!!!
Ben
I have the opportunity to buy some ATE Grooved and Drilled brake discs for my 19 16V..
Just wondering if anyone has them on the their motors? And if so are they any better than the OE parts?
Cheers
Ben
Try not to go over 90 too..
Sometimes, especially if the road is very quiet Ill creep up to nearer 100...
When I recieved my 3 points last month :( I was doing 94, and I was told by the coppers:
below 85: and I would have got a warning,
85-95: fixed penalty (which I got),
95-100: Court...

What kind of price am I looking at?
And Im sure its been discussed a thousand times.. But what Brake pad is viewed to be the best? Dont want top top spec, just something thats better than OE, and that doesnt cause loads of dust.
Ben
Right,
Its time for new front brake discs, as mine are getting pretty worn.. Although Ive got a 19 16V, the discs seem to be the same part as for Clio 16Vs...
Id like to fit uprated discs, and just wonder what youre all running..
Dont want to spend silly money though - any...
No Problem mate..
If youre going to send them before 3pm, mail them to mailto:scholeyb@farnell.com">scholeyb@farnell.com , if not send them to mailto:ben12469@aol.com">ben12469@aol.com

Just wondering how much you all have paid to get a new clutch fitted??
The cheapest Ive been quoted is £300 for my 19 16V, which does seem fairly steep.. I know the engine has to be dropped, but even so, £300??

So, in conclusion..
Its worth changing all my HT leads??
Now, di I get OE parts form Renault/GSF, or is it worth getting "performance" HT leads??
Cheers for all the replies,
Ben
