    grand on coilies

Quite clearly you have never been in a physics class. What does a spring do and what does the damper do? Go and do your homework. Can't compare Cup cars with the usual road/track car as they are running slicks on completely flat racetracks.

    Decat/Sensor Question.

Might be better to leave the sensor in to prevent dirt build up on it. Won't affect the engine management, just triggers the EML.

    grand on coilies

Pretty damn sure. Spring rates: N/mm => less weight, less force by weight to compress the springs.

Dealer only. Motor factor's items will be too short.

    grand on coilies

When altering the weight, it's most important to have updated spring rates. They should become softer with less weight as the static load is lower. Dampers are only for the fine-adjustment and are dependent on the spring rates.

free play on drivers side wheel in the steering rack

I am 100% sure. Doesn't matter which model. RS inner track rods are dealer only.

172 Alloys on a Non Sport

If it's rubbing on the inside they will. ET 43 to ET36 works best on a non-sport.

    Ktec mini cat

Cheaper alternatives available: spacer for the oxygen sensor. About 10 quid on ebay.

    Best stealth back box.

I'd say BTB by the reviews on here.

    Which is better...

Standard airbox, standard paper filter. Don't expect any gains on a D4F.

what oil do people use ?

Castrol Edge/TWS 10w60 but that's on a track car with oil temperature up to around 130°C.

172 Alloys on a Non Sport

Offset of the 172 alloys might be a bit too high for non-sport application. I guess it's scrubbing on the inner arch?

    Cams

428s, 421s and 438s are catcams. Good quality and reasonable priced imo.

Steering angle/torque sensor on the rack. ECU calculates the correct amount of power assistance from it's signal.

    I require 182 exhaustings advice

    I wouldn't put a yozza/jp on a standard'ish daily driver. The BTB 182 exhaust looks nice.

My daily tyres are Hankook S1 evos. I think they are pretty good for the money.

    A Pointless Mod Done

It's attached to the struts not the shell. Won't give rigidity. At max it's going to bend your struts.
