but, thats why they purposefully make the paint so thin on the fronts of the clio as it stone chips easily, creating automatic rivet heads. An ingenious design i think.
surely it must make some difference, maybe 5 mph top end? you can feel how much more smoother the paint work is. Tomorrow im going to try and fold my wing mirrors in, good for another 10 mph i reckon top end...;)
Definately/hopefully (?) be there! in other words i wanna be there! Just washed and waxxed my iceberg and toasted an elise on 97/98 octane cocktail so im in the mood!
I hate my new rear tyres!!! oh no. What have i done? ive gone and bought a pair of boat-makers that have literally made my car into a boat. There a bridge where you go under to enter a chicane near my house and on the old michelins i could nail the throttle in 2nd and come out the other side...
well whatever youre going to get will need lots of torque with a big stereo to haul around. How about a Rover SD1 V8? theyre quite cheap and have big boots. ;)
I think its the lack of friction wax gives at high speeds. Im pretty confident i could crack 150 with 2 coats of wax on.... although acceleration is forfitted due to the extra weight

i think theres one in farnborough - industrial estate jap place. Another near Froxfield i believe - near to pug performance. I wouldnt be able to tell you where they are tho, sorry dude.
BenR said they were crap on his 16v. I recently bought some and at first they seemed to transform my car into a complete boat. The rear end has more body roll and the car felt disconnected from the tires. I was very distressed having spent £209 on 4 new Goodyear Eagle F1s. Now, theyve done...
cool where are you based, just say "yes" if its near me (surrey) in case youre going to a semi-abanadoned air field. Ive been looking for an empty airfield for ages!
Oh no sorry to hear that. Glad youre ok tho (i think!). I aggree with the neck-brace/doctor, go get a brace, its worth looking like an insulated pipe for a week earning a couple grand ££££££
haha, i wonder how fast i could run the quarter mile holding an exhaust making a noise like one "rrrrrroooooooaaaar" Id get much better traction than anyones car tho
I think yours needs topping up if youve a couple of Os missing? i always check on the dipstick, its always lower than the computer says...... hope this helps
"I liked the Honda, but I didnt like it enough to part with 16 grand. I stepped straight into my then 172 and for the first time ever, after looking at a new car, I was happy with what I had."
cliocupmeister - thats exactly the same thing i felt after i test drove one.....
