took everything to bits again yesterday as after putting the spring back into the cup it was still making a donking noise. the top cup where the spring had come out of looks like this, its got lots of scratching around it - where as the other side (drivers side) the top cup doesn't so...

I don't want something that's harder than the cup springs I have at the moment. I need something asap, so if I want new where is best to go for non Renault springs?

I had to really look hard to see the top of the spring was broken, like I say a lady friend was driving the car and hit a big pot hole. so I suspect that caused it. im a bit of a girl when I comes to car parts, where is the best place to get springs from? I need help... :(
