not to mention the mucho expensive magnetti marrelli ignition. Think how long it takes you to change gear, now half that time, and then some more. The car now shifts like a motorbike (gears). Also, I presume those times were done using warm racing slicks (better grip off the line!?)

Ok, ill give it a go. If i took it into renault and they did that trick with the code going to the dash etc. Would they notice the ecu?

He didnt do anything in the dash. He plugged something into the sensor on the throttle when i turned it on. He also did a reset of the ecu(?) Five pumps of the accelerator then off for 30 secs then turn it on and it works. Does this mean my immobiliser wont work ? The only thing that didnt...

Yeah, I read somewhere that when you floor it in top gear at 130 mph in an F1 its like flooring it in first in a Mondano......tasty acceleration!

Everything on the car works properly, apart from the fuel consumption! it just guzzles and guzzles! (possibly because im used to the 1.2 courtesy boat) but its raised the rev limiter to 7800 rpm on the guage, but in the docs that the renault french bloke sent me it goes to 7450 rpm, adding 8 bhp...

Itl make a great sound. Just dont expect any gains.

My gear box took 2 and a half weeks for them to fix it at renault garage in uk. Its fixed now. That was delivered from France.

You probably couldnt shake him because you were fully loaded with people. What reg was it? the 760 volvo boats had a large turbo, or even two turbos? then theres the T5s (very quick) and T4s that people mentioned, all turboed and pretty good at top end speeds and in gear acceleration. Take him...

What chip are you running in the 72? (no McCains Oven Gold jokes please ) It sounds about the same height that mine revs to now....(group N ecu....)
