Nice car rhys - no dents and looks in good order. First thing you need to do is get rid of that tow bar!! arrrrgh! that is, unless you intend towing a caravan or trailor or something(?) Tow bars are heavy! Do you have any plans for the beast? My friend (with the miami blue one, can be seen on...

Its a Calibra by the way. "These results demonstrate that the internal flows must be taken into account for an accurate prediction of the front end flow".
That study on the web page given previously is relevant to what weve been discussing.
Heres some good info (lifted from this webpage: http://www.adapco-online.com/user_arts/werner/
FRONT END AERODYNAMICS - Various front end configurations were simulated, in order to determine how the external flow was affected by the internal flows through the airbox, brake and engine cooling...
Nope it wasnt me coming out of Liphook unless it was a silver courtesy car with courtesy car written all over it. In fact im going to see my girlfriend today, so ill be going through Liphook (at 20 mph) to get to her house. Ill toot the horn in case youre around! Theres definately one for sale...
I aggree with Scott here. Itd be a shame to upset the excellent handling of the 205 gti by sticking so much weight over the axels at the front. The front will dip into corners and the rear wheels will have not weight on them and the back will slide all over the place. Unless you put a crate of...

Liphook is 5 minutes drive away from my house! my girlfriend lives near Bordon. My friends always mention it as i pass it on the ladymead stretch of road before you pass the Jaguar garage on the left, after the Shell Garage.
Oh dear! everyones doing it. I saw that kit car on top gear once that had a bonnet longer than the length of my car! 800+bhp or something. 8 "zorsts", and it visited the Guildford cruise a few years back! Sounds like an absolute monster - im not sure how it was road legal, but it did chuck out...
Hey VR6man, whereabouts in Surrey/Hampshire are you? i live near Hindhead in Surrey. Theres silver mk.1 for sale in Guildford - i can check it out for ya if you want?
Cool, really really nice car! What colour is it? make sure you get the cam belt checked before you start ragging it, you never know with 2nd hand cars and the fact that its done 100k means that i probably had it changed at 55k and needs doing at 110k? dont want it to go "pop".

Hi, I think the Captain and Nick had a big ol discussion about this a while back - cant remember what the thread was called. Try doing a search on ram air. I doubt youd notice the difference to be honest. I think youd have to be doing over 150 mph to benefit from any gains from a ram effect. Or...

Hi Paranoia, I think Blaze was referring to the Police drivers - such as the ones who arent given proper driving training (police astras) and cream through red lights with blue lights on. It seems silly for the police to risk other (innocent) peoples lives for the sake of catching someone in a...
