I can ask my new contact and he can get them for £500. They are something like £700 for a non-renaultsport registered race blokey. Ill ask him whether they would work on the fbw throttle, i dont see why not really. All i think ill need is the engine number.
i know how you feel racing pulsars. My friend has a pulsar with a full exhaust (hks down pipe which says on it "for competition use only") and cone filter. Before he had these mods i raced him (i was 3 up he was 2 up) and i was pulling past him at around !20 mph up hill. Since hes had these...
I was told these are really good and the way to run them in is to: really thrash them and stand on them in the first 50-60 miles, almost locking the wheels etc. and dont bed them in like normal pads, then they should be really good (bite well later) apparently. Anyone had any experience.
The only mods for the cup car i was told are: magnetti marelli ignition, 6-speed sequential gear box, exhaust with racing cat, same air box with ram air modification through head light, laguna brake discs and £180 brake pads(!), obviously different ecu (magnetti marelli i guess), stripped out...

I had to reset the ecu today, when it was replaced with the new one. This is how i was told to do it: put the key in the ignition, turn it to the setting where all the lights are on the dash. Pump the accelerator *5* times (all the way to the floor) then turn the ignition off. Wait 30 secs...
Sounds like a plan regarding the RR. Whereabouts is it? i havent even become a member yet! id love to join but ive lost my cheque book and the pay pal thingy doesnt take switch... Regarding the group n upgrade - i wasnt even going to modify my car until the warranty ran out, but was tempted by...

on the first post in here, the flame red 172 - in the video, your rev counter seems to come in really early? or is it just me hearing things? did it come in at 6800 or 7200? it sounded like 6800 to me. Maybe youd have gotten better runs if youd let it warm up for ages before(?) as when mines...
Hey i got my ecu installed today. Its exactly the same as the original renault in external appearance. When i rev the engine when standard still it revs much more freely rather than a slight delay slower uptake as it was before. It feels more responsive and has more mid range poke. I have...

Yeah, its a whole new ecu. Im not sure whether youve read the other threads where i wrote about it, but its supposed to be a group n rally ecu? a guy advised me to get it (he prepares race cars, including clio cup cars. I went to him asking about the exhausts and other mods they do to the cup...

We test drove a 200SX the other day, in standard form they are true boats. 1.8 turbo, with boaty suspension. Tunable, and look good with a nice body kit on also.

i only really use heel and toe when im going really fast and slowing down loads, e.g. coming to a roundabout and want to get around it fast. I cant do it when im slowing down slowly, it gets very jerky!
Whereabouts will you be moving to in the usa? i used to live in Texas (no cactus/cowboy jokes please) and the speedlimit on the interstates was 75 mph. Maybe thats just in that state? The cars over there are a bit boaty. Even the Subaru Impreza doesnt have a turbo, they do a Subaru Impreza RS...
same with me. Im sure it cant be psychological, i keep telling myself that As for the cost of the ecu, its £275 and the guy said it should make the car more responsive and give it some more top end. Probably just make my car less economical. Ill see how it goes on monday, hopefully it wont...
