my 182 was a bit quieter once i'd decatted it.
the febi mounts seem good as well, have been using them for a while now and everyone's been happy with them.
i had these on my xjr running about 450bhp end they are a bloody good road tyre. as long as you take it a bit easy when it's 'cold' for the first few miles you'll be fine.
they do work well on the 2/3 clio's and the meg.
i say you're better going down the A483 to llynclys and then going over the A495/B4396 to the top of bala.
heading down especially past the pondy is 1 a crap route and 2 you'll probably end up with a 20 minute gap from the 1st car to the last by the time you get to bala :wink:
as long as it's 100% on a nut and bolt check then look ad the rack mounting brackets themselves, i had one split that was a right headache to find and everything was tight and the bracket is tucked away behind the rack so not that easy to see plus the split was quite small as well.
