if you've got the right type of spring compressor that's the easiest way. single piece one with two c shaped cups that sit on the spring. the normal ones don't really fit in and are a pain to use due to lack of space.

was on matched inlets and epas as well so that will of helped a bit. i just made my own tool up, quite easy to work the timing out once you look at the cam specs.

it will be fine, top nut will centralise it.

fit cams, set cam timing (not standard timing) then take car for mapping.

looks like injector, surprised delphi didn't bring a code up but the plug is the give away :wink: you can check resistance on them if you want.

the breather on the cam cover, does it go to the elbow on the inlet?

1&4 sooty so i'd be thinking coil pack.

any smoke from clod start? is it a fresh build? get a leakdown test done, could be rings?

the blanking plate they do for the cam cover is nice as well.
