what about the engine code is it stamped into the block or anything ?

Id rather throw some cash at a 1.6 if its as easy as changing the pistons, crank and ecu. Just need to know if its possible ?

Insurance don't like me fitting a 1.6, however they dont mind me increasing the the cc by 200. Could I not get the 1.4 ecu remapped or use a piggy back ?

Thanks for a speedy reply. Can you use the pistons and crank from a M and bolt them into a J? I assume you need a remap to get it working.

Hi, been searching the internet and the forum and found some info that the k4j and k4m are the same just the stroke is different. Is it the pistons and crank that cause the k4m to have an extra 200cc over the k4j ? Or is the cylinder block different too? Thanks James

try your local graphics place if you want them to do it for you, else just buy some 3m di noc carbon sheeting off the internet and do it yourself. Go look on youtube at how it's done.
