You need to get the fault codes read, the anti-pollution message could be caused by a multitude of things, evap system leak, lambda probe going bad, cat going bad, ignition system, the list just goes on and on.

I think they’ve made a sensible choice, it’s a funky car and making the “free” colour a bold one will make it stand out from the herd. Even if the reaction is just “I like that, but in a different colour” it’s still capturing attention.
