From the lights on it, looks like it’s in economy mode, so the car probably drives like s**t with it on anyway.
Needs to be notified to insurance too, it’s not subtle so will jump out at anyone who lifts the bonnet. I’d bin it unless he wants the extra powwwwwer.
I think it’s a lot of things to be honest, the rise of the helicopter parent, everybody knowing their rights but don’t understand that responsibilities come alongside those rights, the Covid generation, people outsourcing their ability to think to Google and now AI, and just a general culture of...
Do NOT get me started. We have an offshore unit in Bangalore and they are totally incapable of stopping the candidates gen-AI-ing their way through the assessments. It makes it impossible.
We’ve had to deploy a tool now, hackerrank I think it is, which monitors for everything like that. Tests...
Totally agree, we have really good staff retention. We’re just coming out of the other side of a messy takeover and merger, but a merger which was actually sensible in that it wasn’t just merging with a direct competitor and then cutting everything. In our case they merged us with a...
Circa £40k depending on experience. Pension contributions matched up to 5%, private healthcare, usual ”bolt on” salary sacrifice benefits if you want them (dental, various other insurances, cycle to work, car through Tusker)
What the hell is going on with trying to recruit high-quality staff these days?
We’re following our usual tried and tested method. We get CVs submitted, we screen the CVs, we then do an introductory phone screening assessment, people who pass that come in for a full face-to-face interview and...
You’re going to have a fault claim against you anyway, so I’d just let insurance handle the lot, minimal hassle.
the value of the claim is pretty much irrelevant at renewal time unless it’s a biggie.
“Low end” PCs are so capable these days. I just picked up a NUC sized one with a six core twelve thread ryzen CPU, 16Gb of memory, a 512Gb SSD and Windows 11 pro. It’s brilliant. £200 from AliExpress so not something a business would want but there is so much performance available for general...
I’d break it for parts. Sell the mobo, CPU, memory and cooler as a one-stop upgrade package that someone can just bolt straight in. The 4090 is still a killer card so should sell very well.
My experience is that selling whole PCs is less hassle, but also surprisingly difficult and you get less...
Kinda 😂
What can you tell me about the cliosport.net user mace?
”
On ClioSport.net, the user known as "mace" is a well-known and active member, recognized for his distinctive and often humorous approach to welcoming new users. His introductions are characterized by playful and sometimes cheeky...
It’s not like I have an expectation of privacy here or anything, it’s a public forum after all, but stuff which is in the members area should be hidden from Google bots etc so giving it to ChatGPT may not be in the spirit of the thing? I doubt they’re going to get much value out of using that...
Photorealistic on-demand video generation for next to no cost is here.

The future possibilities for p**n are simply endless. Er…. I mean…. No. No, I do mean p**n.
Down to £999 “or best offer”.
Please someone buy it. @Sheila’s’ Wheels’ surely this is better than a van, just strap tall stuff to the roof, what could go wrong 😂
AFAIK the only way to do that safely is with a vulcanised repair not a patch. Too much flexing going on for a patch. It’s a specialist job but it might be saveable.
Guess what’s back. £1250 or best offer

Someone do the decent thing and buy it, fix the aircon and then sell it to me in a couple of months. Ta.
I am way more interested in this than I should be, especially considering I’ve just bought a car today 😂
https://ebay.us/m/Renodm
Only 42 minutes to go on the auction so I’m probably safe.
We have a lot of birds where I live, so poop on the car is unavoidable.
Other than PPF or a car cover, can anyone recommend a treatment that will protect the paint?
And yes, I know washing it off immediately is the best way but they collect at least three or four presents a day……..
I’d support them, if it meant decent frequent updates, but it won’t so I don’t.
Got to say their promises to the patreons of monthly updates etc do stick in my craw a bit. It’s not like any of the patreons are forced to do it, no idea why they still do.
