Spied a Clio outside A&E car park at Mayday hospital in Croydon! Had a ClioSport.net sticker on the back window.

Its an 04 plate as well so an early 182!! I sold my 53 reg 172 last year for £7400 but I'm not up on the prices of the 182s.

Thats cool, bearing in mind that my gf is going from a 106 Quicksilver to the 182 so as its not essential to have the cup packs. What price would it be worth though????

It really depends on what you want. The bike is undoubtedly gonna be quicker than any other car but the 106 won't be as much fun as your Clio. How much you wanting to spend and people can make suggestions on your budget? :) :)

Yesterday spotted a smart looking 172 driving down Foxley Lane towards Purley. Whoever it was had their window right down and looked over!! Anyone on here??????

It could well be the wheel cleaner corroding the wheel nuts as they're lacquered like the alloys are!! Never had any problems with car wash cleaners though, used to take my old 172 to a hand car wash and they used to spray stuff on the wheels and along the bottom of the car and no problems...

I never thought much of the 5k kick you get from my 172 but its something I notice now I drive a Megane 225. Where the revs used to suddenly flick round to 6.5k rpm on my 172 the Megane pulls more consistently. Its a nice feeling on the RS Clios! :D :D

Strangely enough the Fiesta Zetec-S' had this exact same problem on their 'leather' steering wheel. Seems that they coat the leather and its that which wears off. Wasn't aware it happened on Clios. Wouldn't it be easier to get the wheel, retrimmed instead or replacing?

This would explain why my passengers always used to hang on when I floored my 172 and now my 225!! lol I don't intend on experiencing this as no one gets to drive my motor hahahaha

Surely its more feasable to just put nitrous on a 1.2!! About as likely to blow up your engine as a turbo I guess. lol
