Not desperate for coilovers but don't see any shock and spring combinations other than thena the one mentioned above. I saw H&R's but there still out of my budget, looking to spend £600. Whats the arb like on standard springs?
edit: Kam thanks for the advice, are strut braces rated on clios...
So I'm now looking to upgrade the suspension on my 182 and have found out due to the bolt spacing coilovers are hard to find. Options I've found so far are :
1. pro/sportline springs, standard shocks, whiteline arb £300
2. fk coilovers and get the strut machined £600-£700 (I think)
3. Gaz...
I would take the v6, no doubt a great car to drive and it looks unique. The r26r is no doubt great to drive as well but it just looks like a modified r26.

Good company I've used before or just take the part number and use it on another ebc website.
I had a set of these on my saxo only for a week though. They were quite good what do people think of them on the Clio? I usually ignore ebc when it came to brakes but alot of the saxo guys were raving about them and there cheaper than the pads they are ment to be as good as.
Removed the acoustic valve at the weekend.
Mot is at the start of December so priority is just to get the car through that then start modding in the new year. New windscreen is needed for the mot though :(
What's involved in changing the spacing from a set of coilovers from the smaller bolt hole spacing to the cup packs size? What have people done on there's? I would take them to machine shop and get them to do it but just looking to find out how it's been done before? Is the original hole filled...
Please don't shoot me down here but have people looked at sc saxos/106s for examples of what the Clio can surpass. People have been sc'ing them for a while and there are now off the shelf reliable kits for 400bhp, to a certain point the power is unusable in fwd but on track it will be the same...
All true but crap coilovers can be worse than a good spring and shock set up. If your looking for coilovers for track etc then KW, H&R, AST, are the brands you should look at if it's just looks them ktec, vmaxx etc.
