Sounds corrupted to me, however sometimes this can point to RAM failure aswell, does the memcheck look ok when you first boot ? Also, try booting into safe mode, if that doesnt work, format it!

I have just demoted a 2000 domain controller to a member server. I now want to remove/delete it from the domain. Do I just delete it from AD or is there a correct/better/clean way of doing this ? Cheers

Cheers Pete. First problem was that our ISP retired one of the DNS servers i was using + the other is no longer a recursive DNS server. Second was windows firewall, forgot ms included this in Windows 2003 Server .... DOH !

Should i remove all the root hints on both servers and setup the forwarders on both servers ?

Just thrown this together. Didnt bother with the thermal paste as the heatsink seemed to have a thin layer on. At idle the CPU is around the 22 C mark and the mobo 37 C. Not tested it under load yet. Does that sound about right ?

I have everything except sports. That is 36 quid with sky+ (they waive the 10 quid fee with that). So i would imagine you would pay 46 with your HD, that would be the best deal i think. Not sure about the multiroom fee. You could get a magic eye (10-15 quid) but that is linked to your box.
