absolutely immaculate! really do love this cup its so clean and spottles, makes me want to try harder for the perfect oem look but with a subtle touch of 'oem look' motorsport
cheers mate, yeah thats the infro from scroath ive been looking at, so ideally i need this harness bar buyign to be onthe safe side, otherwise the seats could collapse as ther not ment to take such strain from them angles.
cheers mate, just had a look over my existing harnesses and did think the catch was stiched to the end of the belts, i now see they can be removed, thanks buddy.
for the angle is it not to exceed 20 degrees from horizontal and 500mm back from the seat, if exeeded i have to cross them?
At the moment theres been some talk of a harness bar being made for the clio.
My problem is ive just orderd a new set of 4 point harnesses with the clip type anchors that fix to eye bolts, which i have fixed to the oem seatbelt points.
Now im in two minds wether or not to return the clip style...
howdy! :P, will upload video when i get the camera back of the missis! awesome day overall and found some new love whilst i was there, (new car for nexy year possibly)
il get some pics when weather sorts itself out, but honestly thers a few ways to do it that cropped up but the easiest way was just an aluminium plate/strip which can be baught so cheaply. just needs to be cut and drilled then fixed to existings studs and two other holes drilled part way along...
well to sum it up, throttle response has deffinatley improved, noticable differance straight away. And its feels more pokier and eager! all in all id deffinatley reccomend it. also you might want a use a race filter so its more free flowing, thats my personal 2p worth. As for benifiting the...
yeah in the standard position mt airbox rubbed against the bottom of the return pipe hose and burst it, and i dont want that hapening again, allthough its pushed agaisnt my top pipe now im not actually sure ifits rubbing or just pushing at it.
ahh do you mean cut the coupler on the TB end on a slight shamfer so that when its pushed on its sits on an angle away from pipe?
i was thinking about just getting a braided line to replace it, allthough strong it would look silly going to a platic bottle. but the cars built for function not...
Right so ive now fitted my race battery last night and relocaetd my airbox straight of the TB. Now im having problems with the airbox fouling the top return pipe on my header tank.
Ive tried twisting it out the way but no joy at all, i dont want to have to buy a new or smaller alloy header...
its different for every car i dare say to what gains you will see from either, but id say on a 172 try a decat first then matched inlets, its better and cheaper to buy second hand inlets and DIY match them. its really is minimal gains for either mod 1-3hp perhaps but others will argue alot...
looks uber cool slammed! but too low for practicality, itl scrub like a btch if you dont hammer your brackets up and cuts out the plastic blebs in your arch liner, and the lovely splitter with be in a thousand pieces by next week lol.
