Finally the nearside light was frustrating me. It was cloudy as heck. I purchased a cheap "wipe" kit on Amazon and had a go. Nothing to lose really!
Its only gone and worked!

What it should look like

I noticed when I purchased the car my knob was worn.
Thanks to a very helpful man over at https://diamond-performance.co.uk/ I recieved a new knob sticker.
I then put it into the very new, very high tech paint booth and lacquered it. Its currently in there drying now
Before
Decal applied...
I also washed the car to get rid of the salt from the run back from the bodyshop and all the bodyshop dust etc.
Its a very photgenic car but dont be under any illusion. There are marks on a lot of the panels. Its not perfect by a long way
I have had a busy day!
I found some spare part treasure including :
1) TDC sensor
2) HT leads
3) Coilpack
Guess that should save me having to invest in these as apparently these were changed over 10mo ago
I am not sure what the part that resembles a kazoo is ( top , right ) though?
Almost live injector resistance results are in.
( from gearbox to offside )
Inj1 15.9
Inj2 16.4
Inj3 16.4
Inj4 15.8
All there , or thereabouts. They look cosmetically in ok condition.
Must be o2 or TDC then at a guess.
Plugs and leads were done around 1000mi ago 👍
Should be able to rule those out now.
TDC was done years back
O2 sensor I have no records of a change
Injectors as above
Rushed out at lunch to use DashCmd and my odb2 dongle.
O2 sensor one value fluctuating between just over 0v then .65v
Car idle is rough and smells of fuel
Had some fun with the cup this evening.
For reference the car was driven last night, parked up and returned to this evening.
Car started fine, drove fine for around 1.5mi and then power started to be sapped away. Pressing harder on the throttle yielded no joy.
Dipped the clutch , revs flair...
Car is back from paint and its looks great. I still have a lot of marks all over the body but remind myself its a 2003 car ...
Still think its a great looking car
Absoluelty loving this game. Can hoy some cars into bends and catch half way around ( ECos ) where as others you have to be so careful ( MB GT2 )
I really think Kunos have nailed FFB in this.
Hello simracers -
Version 0.1.1 of Assetto Corsa EVO is now live. Your support has been overwhelming, thank you! While we resolve the server overload issues to enable online mode for all, we have enabled all cars in offline mode, so that your experience is less limited.
You will now be able to...
I thought the FFB was about a million times better in Evo than either AC/C.
Controls took some adjusting to get to work and a few crashes.
As above - could be a solid game
Car has left the household and is now at the painters.
Its having the nearside A pillar refinished where the lacquer has peeled and some PDR on a few panels.
Ideally it wants full paint but I remind myself its a 21 year old , used car. .
Yes, somewhere between zero and no chance.
Seriously though - I could perhaps scan them and post here? Not sure the quality will be perfect but better than nothing?
All around superstar and very nice man Paul from Diamond Performance ( Diamond-Performance ) sent me these!
Original Renault literature for the 172 cup and autocar excerpt that was in the dealers!
I had a spare 30 minutes today so decided to hit some of the plastics with a bit of autofiness rejuvenate. I appreciate this wont last forever and Ill most likely remove the plastic and dust in a black rattle can but for now they came up ok
