"other car"?
The car with the engine change needs to be correctly insured in its own right (ie with any mods declared) in order for anyone to drive it whether using their own DOC or on a policy specifically for that car. There is no way around it mate. If there is an engine change and it...
Car will be insured as what it is. Valver with engine change and the power increase noted. Needs to be done as soon as the car is on the road or your insurance will be hella invalid. Not sure about what requirements there are for updating the v5.
Depends on the company. Best way is to ask for quotes with and without them on it. As for occupation, again, try some quotes online with student or engineer, usually student is a higher premium though.
Had an issue at work with a customer where his young son was looking to buy the 1.2 but we wouldnt insure him due to it having a turbo. Fine for the 1.4 tho..
I was after a 172, always wanted one, but after catching a glimpse of the RB, I used a mammoth ammount of man-math to convince myself I could afford it.. Here I am 7 months later and broke :P
Phone again, ask to speak to a manager and explain it again. Request a copy of the call transcript and state you will be contacting the Financial Ombudsman if they debit your account as the tape will clearly show you were quoted no additional premium.
*predicted outcome*
lost tape, premium...
When abouts? Could of been me, been all over the 621 this weekend. Also spotted a CS stickered black gold 182 with a bunch of guys in it on the 621 friday night. I came past, you pulled along side then took the next exit..
M621 about 6.20am this morning, Lithuanian (i think.. "LT") plates, lowered and a big noisy exhaust. Got held up on the M1 with me where J30-29 was closed as well!
Not seen this one around before, driving past Top Valley golf course near Bulwell/Hucknall
Prob wouldn't of spotted me, was in my mates baby blue lupo but I was pointing you out to him!
Policies dont just get cancelled if you miss a single payment, they will resubmit for it with the bank, inform you in writing that it is outstanding and advise of a timeframe in which you need to pay or face cancellation. They want you to pay, it isn't in the companies interest to lose customers.
I love my clio, makes me grin whether I'm driving it or just looking out the window at the RB. I dislike that one of my rear speakers seems to of come from an Austin Allegro.
Still intrigued to know which company it is which says it doesn't have to be insured, sounds to me more like you spoke to a part-timer who doesnt know his stuff..
