Take a picture of under the bonnet, as long as the AC pipes run the way way it'll be fine. Fitting it yourself is very easy aswell, as long as the system is already empty (which if it's not working, it will be).
Windows are silly easy to wire up. You have a live, this live travels down a wire when you pull a switch one way, and down another when you pull it another. Basically, if you have a friend with a working ph2, you can work out the wiring in 10 minutes flat.
I was about to say the same. As much as you like doing things yourself, some powdercoaters offer such a cheap service now it might not even be worth it. £20 a wheel for you and using all your time, or £20 a wheel for someone else and use your time doing more on the car itself :)
How's the...
Indeed I do. Just be wary of where you're leaving the wheels for that week, without a decent level of temperature, even after a week the lacquer may not be truly hard.
IME yes. Only thing is, white primer does tend to be thinner, so a little harder to apply properly and you seem to get more runs. I've only ever used cheap cheap white primer, so it may not be the case with expensive primer.
Good work on the sanding with the RB, if you do the same again I'm...
Re your question, if you use grey primer you will (unless you apply a monumental amount of colour) end up with a slightly darker finish when the lacquer bonds with the colour.
As for what to buy, I think they do quite good sets on eBay? I've always used simonez stuff and had good results...
For that style you have three choices really, cup splitter, carbon spiller (as said KTEC or streamline), or a skoda fabia splitter. The fabia splitter is 1/10th of the price, bendy, but does require the ends snipping off (only with scissors) so that it'll fit.
Cracking work ginger, but your lack of pics is disappointing.
I realise you're busy working away, but taking a full set of pics of that one would have been a great portfolio piece.
Any time at all mate, I work standard hours, but any evenings, whenever.
Even if you don't buy the plugs before the BHW sale runs out, I normally get emailed 25% discount codes constantly.
If it's plugs, bung your reg into euros website and order some (there's a big bank holiday weekend sale at the moment). I'm local and I'd be willing to give you a second opinion if you're willing to drive down.
Pooooma. I love them. I couldn't get over the amount of presence yours had at CSS.
Considering you got this one "cheap" does that mean you can play with it a little? Like, fit a better dashboard? ;)
The zed as standard (exhaust wise) is quiet as a mouse, I plan to run a bypass pipe and "quad up". The quad would be removable and then I could refit a standard bumper and just have a slightly louder exhaust. Sorted.
I'm a quad fan TBH, they get away with it
