Nice cars. I had a VTS. Cracking cars. Clio isn't a lot quicker and tbh the VTS was far more fun to drive and certainly felt quicker.

Mk2 172's don't have a knob they have a digital up or down button. Not sure what it could be. What reg is it? Not still under warranty?

Yes but like he says the engine ISN'T running at this point. Your average mpg wouldn't (or shouldn't) drop when stationary with the engine off, so why should the average speed. If he was sat in traffic with engine running, it would drop but it shouldn't with it off.

Get yourself a Renaultsport Clio spoiler. They're subtle. I'm guessing you have a mk1 Clio but a sport spoiler should fit.

They do lower a 182 by about 10mm and therefore should improve handling by the very fact the car's centre of gravity is lower. Out of interest, are the springs stiffer too?
