I got a 53 silver 172 with cruise and the 6 cd changer and esp for 8500. That was in February. Had 29k on clock. Traded in my old Saxo VTS. Before that I had a 1.4RT. Quite a step up from a 1.4 to a VTS/172 (similar performance on those two).

You haven't got washer jets. The Cups don't have them. They have black plastic blanking plates covering the holes where the jets would go. You could possibly get them colour coded.

The cables are wear indicators that connect to wires in the braking system that then warn you on dashboard, that pads are running low and worn out. Don't use them as there's no where for them to go on your car.
