Very expensive. Shop around.
I haven't had mine yet but was quoted £268 all in and that includes auxiliary belt change too.
This was Benfield Renault, Heworth, Gateshead.
Just had my radio replaced under warranty.
Wasn't until after driving away I've noticed the display is dim on the left side and bright on the right side.
Everything works as normal.
I've tapped the display, pulled out the radio and checked the wiring plugs.
Any ideas or just a blown...
That skiman sounds like a right pleb too. Modded Fiesta ST having to 'back off' from a 197 as the 197 was slow?
More like not even run in so not pushing too hard.
It doesn't.
It sit's below the laptop and sucks the hot air from the laptop downwards and expels it under the cooler and out the sides.
It cooled my ex's laptop pretty well.
Read the reviews.
The first car I drove was my mam's H reg 1.2 RL :o
That was where my passion for Clios started back in 1994.
It was plenty good for a first car. At the time I thought it was pretty quick. I got a 1.4 RT in 1999 and thought that was pretty quick for what it was. I remember trying it on...
Hmm, I've just re-read the whole thread and I think you were saying the Punto was 92bhp and I thought you were talking about the Clio.
That's why I was saying the Clios aren't 92bhp.
My mistake.
I was talking about the 1.2 16v Clio not the Punto Sporting.
I was arguing the fact that the Clio is never 92bhp.
Using your Parkers guide...
even a so called Clio Campus 'Sport' 1.2 16v is a mere 75bhp.
Far from clap trap.
As I said several times, it's all about personal preference.
The point I've tried to make is that unless you're going to turn up your music really loud, then I can't see the point in spending a fortune on a HU. If you do turn up your music really loud, then to me you...
lol, I'd be making sure your fan is kicking in, sounds like the engine is getting a little hot.
My old RT used to get very hot. I'd be stuck in traffic and the needle would rise way too much. Turn on the internal heaters and put em on full whack, open windows if it's too hot for you. The...
I like that one pbirkett.
My old Pioneer 8400 tape/radio used to be a pain carrying the facia around which was why when I got my VTS and then the 172, in both I just left the standard radio/cd in.
My Disklok steering wheel lock always keeps the intense heat off the thumb grips.
They have been repaired once under the previous owner but they should stay ok now with my disklok.
The standard head unit is an alright bit of kit really and besides, my CDs tend to be in the, correct me if I'm wrong, standard Alpine multichanger.
Furthermore, if you want decent quality music, MP3's shouldn't even get a mention. That said, seeing as I'm not that fussed, I could see the...
