Okay so it really needs the services of someone then with more diagnostic equipment than just a CLIP/Snap-On/Generic code reading equipment.

If four places have looked at it and replaced parts, assuming of course its the same throttle related problem that they've failed to fix, why haven't you simply stuck with one and taken it back to them? Is it there...
If the PAS pump is to be changed then yes, I'm afraid it does but if its had a kit recently (or if the current idler is fine and the tensioner is still moving freely on its pivot point) i'd just put a new belt on which is around £14 new for a genuine item.
Mine does it... PAS is the cause on mine. Go full lock and give it some real force when it reaches the end of lock. If the pump gets mega noisy there's your problem.
