The SRS module is a configured option to the vehicle... By this I mean it is setup to monitor and deploy the airbags in your car.
The problem is being caused because you have now added components to the system that are not configured. The SRS module isn't stupid and can see the new units when...
The red engine with STOP?
If so that'll be a level 2 fault... Mostly likely due to an open circuit so back you go again to check for damaged/broken wires and faulty relays.

Like Dan said earlier, it's always a chance you take with a 2nd hand engine as you never really know what you are buying.
Sometimes cutting your losses is a good idea but these cars aren't worth much intact but not working so I'd urge you to see it thru and drop a working lump in (again) or...
I have... Wait, no I had the Sealey SP2450 until it caught fire today!
I normally go for Snap On but the price difference really swung me toward the Sealey. I know it's an inferior product but for what it does (which in my case is rattle off wheel bolts and really long bolts that would take...
The squiggly line light is the electronic fault MIL. The one shaped like an engine type scenario thing is the EM light.
Check the three blade fuses in the engine bay fuse box are intact (I think it's the 15A for the ECM power) and you'll need to confirm the ECM has x2 power and x4 earths.
If...
Continuity isn't always a fool proof test either. You could have two or three strands intact which will pass a continuity test but will not pass a decent signal test.
Warning light is on solid as there's a connection problem on the core system that the vehicle needs to run.
The fact you cannot connect to the ECM says its either a power, earth or Can H or L fault so start looking for broken wires and condition of main feeds to the ECM

Take it back to the company that did the change and explain the situation and your concerns. It's possibly a tensioner fault but it could be something else unconnected like the charcoal canister.
It has apparently surfaced since the belt change though so needs looking at as a matter of...
If you're done waving willies we do the 197 belt change with new water pump for £430 using genuine kits.
Only in Nottingham no flash cars laying around in our workshop as we fix em and send em off ;)

No not completely dead but the TL4, NDO and PKx gearboxes are all troublesome. Some make noise where others are stiff and crunchy. With mileage it's a common thing to hear one make a little noise but not a brand spanker.
I'm not pointing the blame stick because sometimes s**t happens but you really need it back to see exactly what has gone wrong. Renault will offer warranty on parts if they've failed but they will want it to their workshop to confirm/deny but if I'm honest, I seriously doubt parts will be the...
The car is still intact Pete (ish) but it does look amazing. Needs a Dash2 plumbing in also to complete the filthy track **** image.
I bet it drives sublimely around track to. I'm actually a little turned on just thinking about it (#worried)

If the sensor was in open/short circuit whilst the engine has been running it will default to fan on even when the ignition switched off and the key removed.
My understanding of the problem, and you can correct me if I'm wrong, is that the fan continues to run when the ignition is off and isn't...
Yes, the relays are in the black box near the battery.
If you're not sure or confident in your ability then it's prob best you get it looked at properly. I'd offer my services but I don't think your close to Nottingham.
