Good for metal as well Scott Phase1sr - thinking about your exhaust buddy. Would be useful for my calipers as well, since there's no sign of that Strata coating gally supposedly sent the lying little fucker ;)
This is the detailing forum. Every single person that put their names down for the WWHW group buy I organised (putting myself out of £120+ if people hadn't paid) paid on time. I really do think that just shows the level of people that access this part of the forum. Thumbs up to the organisers as...
The back is horrendous. Looks like a Peugeot or something... the badge is in the wrong place, looks too low. The rest is OK, but certainly "new levels of want" Kevin!
A soft brush is a useful item to use, such as the cheapo ones you get as part of a shoe polish set. The soft one (buffer) for leather seats, the slightly stiffer one (polish applicator) for cleaning carpets etc.
Last six photos, IMO buddy;

Yes, you'll need to follow up the polishing with some sort of protection (wax, sealant, what ever you use on the rest of the car).
Although ambiguous, I think he's saying his fingernail doesn't get caught in it.
I don't think it does. Certainly not for a quick fix. You could make that look a heck of a lot less severe with a machine.
Tripple will just fill and much lesser marks than the above. You'll need to machine polish that to make it less severe. Doing it yourself my well be futile, but for the price you've mentioned, something like Meguiars Scratch X v2 is your best bet.
Re: My new car. TTQS
Yeah true. Yeah... OK. I mean, they did exactly what I asked without fuss. A bit cold on arrival and not chatty when asking about modifying the S3, but commented that it was jolly clean etc It wasn't the same user experience as AmD or Awesome where they keep you chatting...
