I'm after a DVD player. I'd like to get a Smart one so I can connect to the internet and gain access to Netflix (as Philips TVs do not support this App, I presume this discounts this provider). I may as well buy a BluRay one, even though I have no use for it, day to day. I have no desire to buy...
Superb as always, Dawny. Illusion sounds like a good route, if longevity is not a problem.
Also, what's that orange thing in the sky?! Not seen it for months ;)
Easy solution to this. Don't use it. It really isn't a good product, chap, so chop it in for the Megs16 you've been using. Much better. Or look at another QD.
I'd be interested to see whether that dilution ratio is wax safe - the comparison would be more against the likes of G101 from AutoSmart, rather than a dedicated PreWash like RDS or AF CP.
Great write up. Thanks for sharing, chap.
Oh and one more thing. Guys, the spray tops are brilliant. So much better spread than any other company supplied spray head. And the lock is jolly useful. Small point, but makes a clear difference.
Updated;
The engine bays look great. Both were left to dwell with either a wipe down the next morning or not at all, so similar treatment to 303. Works well IMO;
And faded trim before;
And after;
Beading well enough for a spray on and leave product, on the skittle panel;
And...
Chap, that's nothing like the necessary amount of time/passes required for a DA. The polish will have barely got to work with four passes after you've spread it.
Have a look at the stickies for the "zenith technique" for more info.
Nothing touches Blackfire Tyre Gel. Looks, longevity and application.
But it's costly, so second best is Meg's Gel.
If you need a one day'er, AG Tyre Shine looks superb and application is great as it's so watery. But if it rains or you look at it the wrong way, it'll have already run off...
Hopefully this should interest you chap.
Update.
Cleaned and dressed the S3 engine bay today. 12 year old plastics. Faded and mainly textured plastics. Cleaned with G101, dried and dressed liberally sprayed on.
I also cleaned and applied Dressle to the grills which makes...
Evening all,
A second review as I currently have the time and before I go out for some Xmas drinks I thought I'd fit in a write up!
So, the product on test is Auto Finesse's Iron Out contaminant remover. Thanks again to Auto Finesse for sending this out in Waxy Box a few months ago.
The...
I agree completely, Mike. And not in the all too common arsey manner as well.
Neil, it's just left a sour taste, chap. And you know the saying; once burnt, twice shy - so it's left me uncertain over how you'd handle a claim.
And a quick point, I don't expect to have to send an email/PM, Neil. Appreciate I may come over as an awkward customer now, but I expect to have no issues talking to a human down the phone.
Thanks for the reply, Neil.
No default, cancelled in a cooling off period due to changes at work and thus a potential car sale (told I was moving to Germany for 6 months). When this didn't go through I just paid admiral (more than your quotation) to rejoin the existing multicar.
Barry spoke...
Sky couldn't cover sk9 postcodes (which, not being bitter, is hilarious as it's full of porkas, Ferraris, Lambos etc being Cheshire) but came through with an ok quote for London.
Greenlight's attitude is hilarious! The amount of time I spend on client proposals to not win the business is...
Hi All,
Thanks again to James and the team Auto Finesse for sending this out. Sorry for the delay, but finally here is my review.
The test area, having already been washed down and dried, was wiped with Eraser to remove all washing oils from the surface.
Having talked in threads about...
Another bad experience with Greenlight. I wonder why I bother.
Cancelled a policy with them last year as was looking to sell the car. I then didn't and quickly got the car recovered under Admiral with my father's multicar policy, having cost me £25 and £300 out of my account for the 6 weeks...
