Yeah iv been considering that already. From description in Toms thread it looked like he had the best of both 400lb front and 285lb rear, ill give them a go and see how they go this year and upgrade through the winter.............. i'm hoping they will be an improvement on the Gaz as standard...

Well, more performance parts arrived today! trying to stagger the installation of everything to see the benefit of each!! f@ck*ing hard when its all just sitting there though waiting to go! Cams are on route and should arrive next week................ hard bit is going to be holding off...

Don't know mate, 5 or 10 kilos maximum, and that probably includes the matting behind the dash...... It never seemed that heavy when doing it but when picking the carrier bag up at the end it was quite heavy, I never weighed it though.......

you need a heat gun mate, not a hair dryer, you'll be there for ever and a day, the heat gun gets it almost melted so all you have left is the residuee, then the white spirit eats through it............... no soapy water required at all. you'll get a cheap heat gun at Aldi or B&Q for £20...

use a heat gun get it tacky and use a scraper, keep heating it and most of it comes off no problem. then use white spirit and a microfiber cloth. wipe over the whole area to soften the residue, then put more white spirit and wipe it off. It comes up like new with very little effort, the heating...

fairly traditional mate, I have a gen 90, itb's by the end of the month and opting for a piper 285 cam set up. it will be a few months maybe longer until I get it built....... I would like to say reliable but as you know, nothing is ever guaranteed.......!!

This does sound like a simple case of re-jointing the wires. I would also note that the sensors in the pillar behind the door do need to be connected as well or the car will turn over and not start. I had a very similar problem to what you have described, I had unplugged mine whilst stripping...

if you find out let me know mate lol......... I have tried everything and with being full track with no interior you'd have thought it would be easier to see and stop!, but it still lets it in!!
