3rd April and the first track day of the year..... everything loaded up last night, weathers been great all day, there's a hope that the sun may stay for Friday, but the weather forecast thinks not!
Get to Knockhill reasonably early, the rain stopped as we arrived but that was as good as its...
don't know if they had coil pack issues, but they did have ABS / ESP control unit issues, mines went 2 years out of warranty but as the car only has 7000 miles on it at 5 years old they changed it free!! on another note I should have put coilovers on it looking at the photos of Ash's one...
Hi mate, due to bad experiences in the past I wouldn't, don't mean to offend in anyway, but if its things that need moved etc. I could do reasonable rates on tow car, driver and trailer..........
not good mate, will catch up with you if you make it up.......... you might have won a watch looking at the weather anyway! glorious today, sh*t tomorrow and glorious Saturday and the rest of the next week!! That's Knockhill for you
sizes not far off, looked at that when I put the roof sticker kit on:
Tight sizes....
Centre of roof from windscreen rubber to end of roof 1560 long, approx 1000 wide.
Centre of bonnet, giving enough for outer peaks 970mm, approx 1350 wide
same happened at the end of last year mate. There were about 15 to 20 in the same session, most of which had bought their cars the night before the track day! with some really scary efforts!!
at least your still in one piece....

:relieved: I think I remember someone telling me this was a cheap hobby!!!...................... no more car mods just now since @Andy93 beat me to it, so decided to upgrade the trailer to free up space in the tow car! bit of a boring post, but its this months progress none the less!
Open day on the 3rd April mate 10am to 5pm, followed by a track night 6 to 8.............. I'm meant to have something on this coming weekend, but if not I might go for the reverse day on the 22nd.
Cars Looking really good mate, hope to see you at KNOCKHILL this year positive I saw you out a couple of times last year in different sessions.
The whiteline is a great modification, Set mine to soft after first install as well, but should have put it straight to hard, just remember on a wet...
I had looked at these for the track car, but opted against them due to cost and availability...... they look good if the car sits low, and the off set is great.
I have white, charcoal and silver wheels, must admit I prefer the silver or grey ones to the white on mine.... the white will be...
