You know it's a clio, right??
It'll be depreciating due to age right now, regardless of mileage. Get out and enjoy it mate! No offence meant by the above btw.
The seats are a bad choice IMO. I know it's "sheep" but trophy recaro's and the sabelt wheel would make it perfect.
Oh and it's the best looking vee I've ever seen, ever. Amazing colour.
Personally.... use two hinges on the "front" and then clip hinge on the other side etc like a lot of other cars do. 106's etc.
I'm pretty sure you could just glue the hinges to the windows rather than try to drill anything.
I knew you were looking at swapping, hadn't seen what you'd bought. Looks a really nice car, if I buy another RS it'll be a cup I think.
Anyhow, why are you changing the hubs mate???
It really doesn't matter AT ALL if the disc retaining screws are there or not. Some cars/discs don't even have...
Right:
Eibach Sportlines, have the spoiler colour coded if it's not and then stop on the outside.
Get inside and get rid of those blue speaker grilles, please just get some standard ones from a scrappy.
This could become a nice looking car.
Love everything about that;
The wheels are quite hard to pull off but you've done it perfectly.
Flared arches look amazing.
Colour is brilliant.
Good work all round. I also love the no nonsense attitude, "I don't take photos, I just do s**t".
They're trying to do you RIGHT over.
Just ask for the car back, explain you want nothing more done and take it to somewhere that isn't run by arseholes.
Glad you like, I'm glad you do as I tend to quite like where you go with cars, so having a decent opinion of someone who's taste I like is always good if you know what I mean?
I'm not a fan of the carbon wrap ever either, but it was a great solution to a problem.
Get it done!
Glad you're...
Cheers mate, I'm not a fan of carboning things really either, but wrapping stuff is often an answer to an otherwise expensive problem!
Yeah I saw that mate, I have enough to do mine, just not sure if I'm that bothered, you don't ever see them!
You sold it :(
My dash is manky and I was...
Re: damn. phone crashed, restored from iTunes and lost all holiday pics from last wee
10 points for not backing up to a PC before updating... unfortunately you've got no hope of getting those back now.
Cheers mate. It's subtle and there for a reason TBH. Everything that's been covered was damaged/not quite right in some way.
At least we'll be doing it on cheap(er) tyres!
Do it mate! It's going to be a right good crack. Only reason I'm at the office today is to get enough days off to go...
So, small update:
The last few weeks have seen some money problems, big ones, but as for wednesday this is all sorted :)
I've decided (for now) that having my wheels refurbed is the best option, I just haven't got £900 spare at the moment for the CSL's and I do quite like the look of the...
TBH if city are close, get them to do it. You WILL spend more than you think on materials. Especially when you factor in wet and dry, tape.. etc..
I'd bet money someone on here has some wheels you could borrow. People are helpful if you help.
It's a bit of a pain, but just swap the spare over each time and do one at a time.
Make sure you use the exact same process in terms of coats etc, otherwise you could end up with slightly different colours!
