yea i just done a burn with 4x and burnt half a dvd instead of filling the dvd, ill check it in a bit to see if its any better vista ultimate

i dont wanna convert though, just burn direct to dvd in avi/mpeg format

just use self tapping screws. sikaflex bonding addhesive too if its a big splitter/colour coded

just wondering if theres any burning softare that can check the synching of the video and audio before it finishes the burn? or is there an option for it to check the movie if its all perfect first?

entire point of buying this multi format dvd player was to avoid converting to dvd as it takes too long. converting to dvd is last resort really. ill see if i can find some different software,

yeah .avi's. what software do people recommend? other than nero. only needs to burn things, no convertor needed

yea powerful pc. it aint constant right the way through, itll just like lag, like go blocky and then the synch will be out. on one burn it was start to finish though

Straight burn to disc, no convert. I got a dvd player downstairs that plays .avi's etc so its just a straight burn

ill try burn it again later on another disc, different make, see ifs any different. Using Padus Discjuggler.

wonder if anyone can help with this. When i download stuff, the file is perfect, the video is fine, the sound is fine, but like lately ALOT of my burns have had bad syncronisation. Basically the speech/video is out by 2 seconds or so. It isnt the file as it plays perfect on the pc, its just...

also maybe have a look at what processes are running, maybe stop things from booting at start up, thatll speed your pc up no end. run HijackThis and post up the log file

my monthly scan goes along the lines of crap cleaner>avast ad aware>spybot>defrag

i had the same problem when my line would die, it would stay connected but only transfer like 1.0kbps. it was the wireless network. i wired up both pcs to the router via ethernet cables and it was so much more reliable. maybe something you could try?
