best engine bay ive seen was on an evo i think or possibly a scooby, it was running 600bhp+ and the guy had spent 30k i think on the engine.
im pretty sure it was turbod AND supercharged... but i could be wrong
rather you than me :P
easy job.
i reckon 2 main things that you could damage are either the window rubber (which is metal inside) so if you bend it you need a new one as they are a b*****d to bend back to shape, near impossible.. or, scratching the paintwork sliding the window in place, or...
renault do paints yep but dont touch them, theyre overpriced.
apparantly autopaints.co.uk are good, but myself ide just look in your yellow pages for your local paint supplyer, take them your petrol cap and get a can mixed up to the colour of the car. this takes in account, weathering, age etc...
wont be a different colour if its a good colour match and you keep it local.
but if you want it 100% perfect then its a bodyshop job as the whole rear quarter will need to be painted so the basecoat is blended in properly.
as for the trophy, im pretty sure renault are running water based...
dont need heat resistant paint.
covers plastic and doesnt get anywhere near hot enough to warrent heat resistant paint.
you imagine a car on a bright hot summers day 30 degrees, you cant hold your hand on your bonnet or roof because its so hot, yet that paint is fine.
-P320 sandpaper
-P800 or P1000 or P1200
-basecoat and laquer (or just basecoat if its non metallic)
-aerosol cellulose
-rubber block
-bucket
Sand it down with P320 dry on a rubber block, feather out all the scratches and down to bare metal if need be
prime it with your aerosol primer...

Click Go Advanced, scroll down a bit and click the Manage Attatchments button, then just find the pictures on your pc then click ok.
i think only hard thing about it is removing the rubber from around the window as its metal. if you bend it slightly you'll need a new one and they are an absoluter fucker to get out without bending.
