farecla sell the best stuff when it comes to paint rectification IMO (G3/G10 etc) but that just seems like a mini pc adaptar that goes into a drill with a paintbrush to touchup and a tub of laquer?

if it was me polishing it ide open the bonnet and wedege it open with an aerosol can by the catch or a roll of cellotape, anything really
just to make sure you dont burn those wings as they am raised slightly.

yea just for pictures tbh to show the difference. also plastic mouldings are taped off so you dont burn/mark them.
ide just do your bonnet as normal and polish the tops of your wings, wont hurt, just watch the edges.

pics of your clio mirrors and pics of the s3 mirrors would help.
i doubt very much baseplates are the same, you could try somehow use the clio baseplate and modify the new mirror to fit onto it, then feed your wires through if its electric/heated.
