More contact in the dry with bigger tyres but when the rain comes down you could lose grip!!

So, £300 for a bonnet respray, dents taken out of the drivers side door and rear quarter and a paint chip/flake doesnt sound too bad to me now. And theyre a Renault approved bodyshop (not that that means much if the dealers are anything to go by!!). Thanks for the replies.

I think Ill wait until I an get some eibachs, something you can trust. I had them fitted to my last car, a focus, and they were superb and not too low. Cheers for the advice mate.

I just got a quote for some PI springs, 30mm drop + fitting for £177.10. But they also said if I was to but the eibachs myself and have them fitted there itll cost me 100 snots for fitting them!!

Im thinking of doing this to my cup. Have you experienced any grinding or rubbing? Also, how stiff does it make the car, is it bearable (spelling?!) or are you jumping around like in a mk1 mini??

I changed mine at around 8000 miles. There was a bit of tread left but the car was tram-lining like a b**ch. Once replaced the car felt a lot different. I used a local mobile guy from stevenage and he done them for £60 each, fitted.
