Well, Ive got them all, just need to find something good enough to fix them back on with. I got recommended a double sided tape by a mate that sticks like sh** to a blanket, just need to prize it from his clutches!!
The CUP 17 and 2 fell off in my hand when I cleaned my car on saturday!! Im sure, being french, this happens to a few of you out there. Luckily I have them all.
Whats the best thing to use to stick them back on with?
I also noticed after closer inspection that theres a good inch of height...
I must agree, although a tad biassed as I already have a cup. I did test drive a 180 the other month. It doesnt feel as responsive, probably due to those big wheels. Nice choice mate.
The clio 172s do suffer from tram lining, and mine did. Especially when the tyres are coming to an end. How are yours? Mine does still jump and pull about a little.
Whats it like on a smooth, flat road? I find theres quite a difference and change when Im on a new, smooth road.
t_sheen,
im actually in beds now but just on the border, i used to live in ware. got mates in hertford.
ive got mixed feelings in here from chipsaway? my boss had a few things done on his car a while back and it was good.
Its really annoying and does need doing for resale really. I wouldnt want it passed on like it is. Guess Im a bit proud.
I know chipsaway are cheap on touch-ups. Cheers CUP8OY.
We all get them Im sure, f**king annoying w**kers in car parks that have put dents down the sides on our pride and joy!!
Anyway, I got a quote for some work that needs doing to the bonnet on my cup. This costs £300 with VAT for a respray. I got them to also do a quote for the 4-5 dents down...
Can anyone list the sports seats you can fit to a cup? I dont want full on buckets (that dont recline) with a harness, just something a bit nicer than the existing ones.
Im sure Ive seen sparco ones in a cup before?
My cups done 14000. I got the oil changed on about 3000 miles and had a service at 12000 and is running fine. The clutch gets a bit sticky (probably the pedal) when in stop-start traffic but thats it.
Only topped the oil up once aswell, and that wasnt after the trackday i did either...
Great fun, cheap to run. Maybe a bit plasticy but sod that, they go really well. And, for 10k that sounds superb.
I found the comparison the other way round with the typre R. I found I had to rev the pants off it to get it to go. Where the clio is so light, its so adjustable, and the boot...
I regularly have 35-38 mpg on the dash, and thats when I dont hang around. Which in fairness, is bloody excellent I think.
I once put Optimax in and it didnt last long at all. The annoying thing is I get a feul allowance at work and the petrol station round the corner doesnt even sell 97 RON...
Ive got a SONY Minidisc unit in mine, fitted it myself nice and easy. But I did ask the chap in the shop about the lead for the steering collumn controls, which doesnt cost much, but to fit it it does. The whole dash has to come out apparently?! He might have been wrong.
A mate of mine and my sister both live in Woodley and it takes me about 1 and a half hours, depending on which route I go.
And funnily enough, hes from Irthlingborough which isnt far from Rushden or Kettering, which even more funnily enough is where I watched England beat Argentina in the...
I know I may come accross as a little picky but it does take all the fun out of cleaning it for starters. Now I know that it is a dodgy paint job and not the way Ive been treating it (just a shame that Renault wont do anything!!).
I know the image isnt great but you get a good idea of what...
