paint = x ammount of layers
however many it takes to get the colour and cover the primer.
ive painted a peugeot 306 before, a gold one and had to paint about 12 layers of basecoat on it just to cover the primer.
generally, about 2-3 coats is fine.
and laquer is 1 nearly wet coat, then 1...
if they are textured theres basically 2 ways you can do it.
1: smooth the textured strips, start from like P180-P320-P800wet, then primer and paint
i really couldnt be arsed smoothing them all down like that when i did strips a few days ago so i sanded them down with P180 then P320 so they...
colour goes straight onto it.
can leave it for about 24 hours (i did with mine as it started raining) then laquer onto it without any prep, if you leave it for days and days it will need wetflatting because it will have gone off and the laquer will just flake off eventually.
so yeah, just...
whats with the talk of a new bumper?
ive had bigger cracks on my c**k :S
get it repaired, plastic welded, filled n sprayed, will be a blow in instead of a full bumper paint.
bonnet needs spraying though
look very closely in the indent of where the side strip goes, can you see any scratches in the basecoat? generally a place most people dont prep well as its covered with the side strip anyway
tbh i know a few people who did it, i think meddy clio had his orange one done?
was malice's clio the volvo or r5?
tbh dont expect it to be awesome power, i only think they managed to push out like between valver and williams power
dont be too fussed about taking the old glue off, just cut the largest chunks of it, then reglue your side strip back on.
tbh it sounds like theyve took the strip off to do a repair maybe and they broke the clips and sikaflex'd it on.
really does depend where you go, i mean you can go from about £600 (without insides of doors/engine bay/boot etc and upto maybe £2.5k for a full gut out.
my post didnt break any rules yet was still removed :S
i posted a link of what software i use, didnt say download it or anything that would break cs rules. i suggest whoever removed my post ask yourself if its breaking rules before you hit that button.
i use padus discjuggler
i used a full version of nero before deciding i wanted smaller software, i uninstalled nero and it restarted my pc, it had also deleted windows boot up files that the vista cd was unable to repair.
i ended up doing a full reformat.
so your saying the actual jack plug wont fit into the router that connects to the mains adapter?
it going in the right hole?
other than that you must have the wrong adapter in there, take it back
to put your mind to rest.
when repairing stone chips on windscreens, you drill into the window with a diamond ended drill bit until you reach the plastic centre.
you then inject into that a residue and hardener and it overflows onto the glass. this is dryed and then scraped off (just like...
haz, why you so scared of using a blade? trust me, i wouldnt give out any bad advice. if theres ever been overspray on glass from cars that have just been painted we get it off with a blade.
thinners makes a mess and can damage the rubbers (unlikely on the windscreen as its the scuttle)
but...
used it for years, ima paint sprayer/body repairer, worked in 6 different garages and in every garage this is the only stuff they use to polish cars with after they have been painted.
its best to be used with a machine polisher but its perfectly fine by hand and with some elbow grease.
just...
try set it as 1st boot? then cd/dvd
if it is 1st boot, try set it as secondary with cd/dvd first booting device.
are you installing xp or vista as ive read that booting order can affect installation on vista
